La doctora Lucía Crivelli es jefa del Servicio de Neuropsicología de Fleni.
Se graduó con honores en la Universidad de Buenos Aires y completó su doctorado en Neuropsicología en la Universidad Maimónides con una tesis sobre los predictores neuropsicológicos de las capacidades de conducción vehicular de los sujetos con demencia.
Actualmente es profesora titular de Neurociencia Cognitiva Básica de la Universidad Maimónides e investigadora de CONICET. Como investigadora, recibió dos becas del Ministerio de Salud Pública y Desarrollo Social de la Argentina para investigar y desarrollar políticas públicas dirigidas a las personas con la enfermedad de Alzheimer y el deterioro cognitivo. Su trabajo de investigación se centra en la iniciativa LatAm FINGERS, la primera intervención no farmacológica para prevenir el deterioro cognitivo a través de la adopción de un estilo de vida saludable.
Sus intereses de investigación incluyen la prevención de la demencia a través de un estilo de vida saludable, los trastornos cognitivos asociados enfermedades neurológicas, su detección temprana y prevención, así como los biomarcadores neuropsicológicos de la enfermedad de Alzheimer y otras demencias.
Durante la pandemia de COVID-19 desarrolló una línea de investigación y publicaciones sobre los trastornos cognitivos post-covid como parte del grupo de trabajo Neurology & COVID-19 Global Forum de la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS).
En 2021 fue elegida presidente de la comisión de Teleneuropsicología de la International Neuropsychological Society por su trabajo en el desarrollo de la teleneuropsicología en Latinoamérica. Y en 2022, como presidente de la junta directiva (Membership Chair) de Alliance of Women Alzheimer’s Researchers (AWARE) para incentivar y promover el rol de las mujeres en la investigación de la enfermedad de Alzheimer.
